THE JO ANN GORHAM SCHOLARSHIP

The Jo Ann Gorham Scholarship Award Grant was established by the Kentucky Society of Radiologic Technologists in 1977 and revised in 1985 in special recognition of Jo Ann Gorham.

The KSRT, Inc. would like to announce that Donna Crum has been chosen to receive the JoAnn Gorham Scholarship. This was announced during the annual meeting in Lexington in November. Congratulations Donna!

The Scholarship's purpose is to assist in making available the benefits of Continuing Education activities to qualified graduate technologists.

Funds awarded by the Jo Ann Gorham Scholarship Award Committee ($500/semester; $300/quarter) must be applied to the following uses:

A. Local, State, Regional, or National Educational Activities

  • Including but not limited to seminars, institutes, workshops, both professionally and commercially sponsored.
  • Registration fees, books, and related materials.
  • Transportation, food, and lodging, if applicable.

B. Continuing Education at the Undergraduate and Graduate Levels (College Level)

  • Will be subject to approval by the Jo Ann Gorham, Scholarship Award Committee.

Eligibility Requirements

1. Must be a graduate technologist certified by and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists currently employed in Radiologic Technology or a related field.

2. Must be a resident of or employed in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

3. Must be an active or associate member in good standing of the KSRT, Inc., for a period of two (2) years prior to application.

4. Must submit proof of credentials required by existing federal and state law agencies governing Operators of Radiologic Equipment

5. Current members of the Jo Ann Gorham, Scholarship Award Committee will not be eligible for continuing Education Award consideration.
